If you are a procrastinator, you’re in good company. Some of the greatest minds in the world — including Leonardo da Vinci — were famous procrastinators.

How does the procrastinators mind words?

There’s always a procrastinating monkey somewhere hidden, pops out when you want to do some work. You keep on procrastinating till the deep hidden made-up deadline strikes in your head.

Oh! Shit I have to work now. uhhhhh!

Then you try to complete 1 week of your work in 24 hrs with no sleep and just coffee. Beating the procrastinating monkey will be a daunting task, that state of mind will always give you multiple paths to choose which will never end with proficient work.

But don't worry, procrastinating is normal. Instead of agonising that you’re guilty of a bad habit by your procrastination, embrace the realisation that procrastinating is normal. If it doesn’t get out of hand or become chronic, you shouldn’t have a problem.

“I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it.”

Bill Gates

So, Should I make a time table?

Well if you ask me don’t ever make a timetable. Just don’t give yourself reason to procrastinate, what if you don’t follow it and waste your whole day thinking about it.

Just think and do the work you want and get going with your life. Live it dont fake it. Have fun!

For academics, musicians, and others whose work involves creativity or problem-solving, trying to force a project early often leads to output that feels quashed or stunted. Quality work takes time, and it often requires some mental distance — and one of the best ways to get that distance is to move.

What are the perks?

If you’re putting off things, procrastination could help you jumpstart procrastinating. This is helpful to get rid of unnecessary tasks, things you might have begun that weren’t worth your time, at least now.

What not to do?

Just don’t let the monkey take over and you will be fine.

I’m lazy. But it’s the lazy people who invented the wheel and the bicycle because they didn’t like walking or carrying things.

— Lech Walesa

Do not take life too seriously. You will never learn to be happy.
